 Information on Pamela DeHetre, Pamelot, Reg.
Pamelot Show Dogs were started in 1963 with a Toy Poodle which Pam received as a gift. She learned about show dogs from the breeders of that dog. In 1965 she acquired her first Doberman which was the beginning of the rest of her life with the breed. Pam was a breeder, and AKC licensed Handler and now an AKC licensed Judge. She has devoted her life to the world of purebred dogs. Under the kennel name of Pamelot Pam has bred Champions in Pointers Brussels Griffons, Miniature Pinschers Doberman Pinschers Manchester Terriers
 Pam's Bio Pam, at 18 years of age, entered the world of pure bred dogs with a gift of a Toy Poodle. She worked in a veterinary clinic doing a little of everything from assisting in surgery, grooming and doing some of the book work. Since that time she has worked in many veterinary clinics. She was briefly in Boxers. Pam bought her first Doberman in 1965 from Pat & Judy Doniere and was immediately hooked on the breed. Since then she has bred many Champion Dobermans as well as Champion Pointers, Miniature Pinschers, Manchester Terriers and Brussels Griffons numbering over 100 Champions in all. Several of which have won all breed Best in Shows in Canada and the US. As a handler she has finished numerous different breeds from all seven Groups as well as handling to Group and Best in Show wins. She has handled many winners at the DPCA including WD, WB, Best of Breed and Grand Prize Futurity winner. Pam has the honor of winning the DPCA Top 20 twice. First time in 1977 with Am, Can CH Schauffelein’s Vintage Year and the second time in 1980 with his daughter, Am, Can CH Shinya’s Better N’Popcorn CD, ROM which was the first ROM to win the Top 20. Pam was also the handler for Popcorn’s obedience title and WAC. Pam has served the Doberman Pinscher Club of America by holding positions from Futurity Chair and Grievance Chair to Board member to President and now holding the position of Health/CHIC Chair as well as serving on the Judge’s Ed Committee. Pam has one daughter (who is a dog groomer), two grandsons and one great grandson. She owns Bay Creek Kennels, Boarding and Grooming, in Loganville, GA. She breeds under the kennel name of Pamelot, Reg. Pam also owns Paperbacks Book Store located in Loganville, GA. Pam is currently licensed by the AKC to judge 20 breeds and JS. Positions Pam has held in the DPCA.
